May is Building Safety Month. Building safety month was created 39 years ago by the International Code Council. Building Safety Month is an great opportunity to educate people on what it takes to create a safe and efficient building/home. This can be done in a number of ways. You can better prepare your home or business for disaster by taking prevention and preparedness steps. It is important to have evacuation plans, safety tips for emergencies situations, and alarms.
