Safely Celebrating the Holidays
12/9/2019 (Permalink)
The holiday season is here once again. Everybody knows a turkey and some mistletoe help to make the season bright. If you don’t use caution when roasting your chestnuts on an open fire, your holidays will quickly go from holly jolly to horrid. From Christmas to Kwanzaa we have helpful tips to help you and your family.
- Always unplug holiday lights and trees before leaving you home or business
- Keep flammable material at least 3 ft away from your Christmas candles, Menorah or Kinara
- Don’t plug more than 3 strings of lights into each other or opt for a power strip instead
- Use a sturdy tree stand when setting up your tree
- Supervise children and pets near your Christmas tree
We hope you have a happy holiday season filled happiness. May the joys of the season shed light, hope and fill our hearts with peace.
