Check Your Pipes!

The weather is warming up and people are ready to start doing stuff outside again. Many of these outdoor projects such as washing the car, watering the grass, power washing the house, and more, require using your outdoor faucet. Many people do not take into account the dangers that come along with returning your home to "Warm Weather Mode". If you are turning your outdoor faucet on for the first time this spring, we highly recommend checking the indoor pipe that feeds the faucet as soon as you turn it on. Things can happen while the pipe sits over winter and leaks are not uncommon. The last thing that you want to realize is the whole time you have been power washing, your basement has been filling up with water. It is always good practice to check your pipes and basement regularly to ensure there are no problems that could result in costly damages.
